scattered thoughts

God looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. — Psalm 53:2

Lord, I long to seek You, and I want to understand. I pray that You would settle my scattered thoughts, all my negative thoughts that keep popping into my head.

I pray that You would fill me with Your spirit during BSF today. I want to be a vessel for Your love as I teach the children.

I pray for focus on You. If You are looking down to see if there are any who seek You, find me! I am seeking You, but I keep falling over. I pray that I might follow You today. Will you redirect my negative thoughts? Through Your strength, Lord, and not mine.

I pray for the situation with Isabel's Sunday school class. I am disappointed in it, and I want to step in and change everything. But of course it is Your class, not mine. I pray that You would move in this situation, and that the outcome would be what You want for Isabel and the others. Take my selfishness out of it.

I pray for help with my book, as I try to figure out the way forward. Thank you again, Lord. Please, please be with me when I write! I want to write this book for You.

In Your son's name I pray,

Amen
