Psalm 25:2

Psalm 25:2 O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5)


Lord, You are the Alpha and the Omega, the omnipotent, omnipresent God who created me. The purpose of writing this book is to show You to other people, and to help myself to understand. Please use me to show Yourself to others. That is the point.

I rest in You, knowing that all the way in Miami, Lee is in Your hands. I pray for his presentation today, that You would fill him with confidence and the ability to convey his information in a way that impresses others. I pray for his success, Lord. 

I pray for Isabel and Lily, that they might grow to know You and place You at the center of their lives. Even as I fail, and fail again at this, I pray it for myself and for them.

I pray for a desire to pray to You more often, and I pray that I might see Your hand in my circumstances.
