rescue

If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.

Psalm 91

Lord, this is what I long for. I am scattered and frustrated. I pray for Your spirit to guide me. I pray for focus. I pray to wake up and realize what is really going on around me. I pray for Isabel and Lily to get along and treat each other well. I pray for them to use their free time wisely, and that they would allow me to get work done.

I pray for Lee today as he goes through the hard work regarding Jackie. I pray for her, that she will take the news well. I pray for Lee, that he will show grace and wisdom. I pray for all involved. Lord, please ease Lee's mind, and allow him to know and feel Your presence throughout the experience. I pray that You would calm him, bring his stress level down. I pray that You would lead him to recognize that he can take measures to counteract his high stress levels. Lord, please please show him Your will for him. I pray for spiritual healing, and emotional healing, and physical healing. I pray for Your spirit to enter into him and guide him in the right direction. I pray that You would answer these prayers, and that I would see Your answer, and that it would help me in my belief.

I pray for my book. Lord, what's next? I feel stagnated. Please show me what You have next. What does the next chapter look like?

I pray for Mom and Dad in France, and for a desire to talk to them.

I pray that You would help me to figure out Father's Day and birthday gifts for Dad.

Lord, I feel so anxious. I pray for help with Dad-related things!

I pray for the swim meet tonight, that I would serve You graciously, and that my girls would do well in the meet.

In Your son's name I pray,

Amen
