12 People who do not believe are living all around you. They might say that you are doing wrong. So live good lives. Then they will see the good things you do, and they will give glory to God on the day when Christ comes again.
Lord, I really, really need You today. I feel headache-y and tired, and spiritually down. I need Your help in controlling negative thoughts. Please bless my BSF classroom today: Joshua, Cale, Katie, Howie, Victor, Ryder, Elizabeth, London, Holly, Charlie and...who am I forgetting? Please bless them all! And Hope and our volunteer. I pray for a good morning, where the children learn Hope's message that what You decide is always right.
I pray that You would empty me of me, and fill me with You.
I pray that You would give me stamina, and help me to be able to go to Mary Evelyn's house tonight. I pray that I'll be feeling better and will be able to go.
I pray that You would fill me with Your knowledge and wisdom about Lily and the gifted program. She didn't get a letter, and my heart aches about it. Lord, please show me the way forward. She is so bright and beautiful, and if the gifted program isn't her path, that's Your will for her. And Your will for her is perfect! Lord, please fill me with Your loving words and guidance as she absorbs the news. You have big plans for her--how can You not? She is so full of life and love! Please guide me when I talk to her. It's not about rejection--it's just a closed door because another one's going to open somewhere else, and it will be the right one for her. Lord, please empty me of me, and fill me with You before we talk!
