Lord Jesus,

I am sorry that I blew it yesterday, when Amy told me she was getting a divorce. I had no idea what to say, but I don't think I was a good ambassador for You. 

I pray that the book I ordered for her will draw her closer to You. I pray that she'll give it a chance, and that it will soothe her.

I pray that this ordeal will be a time of searching for You.

Lord, I have a cold. I pray that You will be with me in it, and help to heal me and help me to be upbeat and kind no matter how I feel. I thank You for every opportunity to praise You, even when I'm sick.

I thank You for a good day yesterday for both of my girls. Isabel will get to do a new issue of the newspaper before the holiday break, and Lily was happy about her Target test. She's also adorable as she practices for 101 Dalmatians.

I pray that You would protect both of them from getting my cold.

I pray that You would heal me, so that I can do a good job helping with the makeup tomorrow night and Saturday.

I pray for our financial situation, and the car ordeal. I pray for Lee, that You would give him patience and good sense about how much we can spend on the next car.

I pray that You would fill me with Your power and Your joy.

I pray for Your book! What's next?
