1 Chronicles 29:8

11Lord, you are great and powerful. You have glory, victory and honor.Everything in heaven and on earth belongs to you.The kingdom belongs to you, Lord. You are the ruler over everything.

Lord, You created me, and You sustain me. I am Yours. I need to go out and serve people in Your name. I need to fill the bag with food for the food bank drive, in Your name. I need to remember You, on Your throne. You are all-consuming in power and greatness, and everything belongs to You. The food in my kitchen cabinets are gifts from You, and You want me to share them.
I pray for the school bus, for Your spirit to penetrate the hearts of all the children. I pray for Isabel, that You would replace her feelings of judgement with feelings of sympathy for those who need friendship, and love for kids she perceives as her enemies. They're just kids, after all. Lord, please replace my own negative feelings for these kids, replace them with love and gentleness.
I pray for the classrooms at Tritt, that the children would learn respect and obedience, and most of all that You would draw them to You. I pray for Isabel's newspaper, that all the children who haven't handed in their stories will do so on Friday. I pray that I will let You nudge them along, or not, as You will. Your will, and not mine, Lord. I am switching tactics. Start asking what YOU want, and praying that Your will be done.
The same goes for my book, which I am happy with and which I want to glorify You. I pray that You would continue to guide my words and ideas and show me how You would have me proceed. Lord, I am nothing, less than nothing. But I am a capable writer when You are guiding me. I pray that You would guide my hand in Chapter 26, to glorify You and bring out Your truth.
In Jesus' precious name I pray,
Amen
