psalm 97:12

Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.

Lord, I praise You today for the wonderful reception Isabel got for her class newspaper. I prayed to You about this newspaper. Obviously it was within Your will to give this blessing. All good things come from You. I am always before You, asking and receiving. You are the source of all that's good and helpful and wise.

I pray for her time on the announcements, that she would not be nervous. I pray that she would have confidence, and that she will feel You with her. You are always with her.

It's in this spirit of praise and expectancy that I continue to rest in You as I pray for Lily and her situation with Target. Thank You, Lord, for the multiplication facts Power Point, which I suggested but which she did all by herself. I continue to pray to You, the source of power and knowledge, on Lily's behalf. If You see that she will grow from being in Target, please grant her wish to be in it.

Lord, I pray for Lee and all the issues he faces at work. I pray for Your blessings upon him. I am not the best wife to him. Please forgive me and give me a renewed sense of how I can help.

I pray Joshua 1:8 for Lily and Isabel: Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Lord, I pray that You'll show me how to interest my girls in Your word. I pray for them, that they would meditate on it day and night. I pray that they would be prosperous and successful, by following You.

I pray for Your book, Lord. I depend on You. I write this book in prayerful dependence on You. Slow me down, make me listen. What do you have to tell me? What truths are You offering in Chapter 26? Lord, please show me just what I'm supposed to write. Take away my false motives, pride and arrogance, which set me up to fail. I want to want what You want. I can't do this on my own, but only with Your help. I pray that You would lead me onward as I write this book, to understand You more and to love You ever more deeply.

I want to write what You have for me to write.

In Your son's precious name I pray,
Amen
